My kennel
is situated in a little town Tornio, close to the Swedish border in
Finnish Lapland.
It isn't far away from the Arctic Circle, and Santa Claus is living in next
door, too. This is why my kennel got the name LAPPONICA LÖWE, the lion of
Lapland. I've been involved with this wonderful breed since 1989, when my family bought the first leonberger Gesabina Delli-Daami "Nelli" However my foundation bitch was Terr-Leon's Gräfin "Grefi", which I imported later from Norway. At the moment I have three leonbergers: one male and two females. I breed leonbergers in a small scale and have got until now five litters. My aim is to breed sound and healthy leonbergers with lovely character. Most of all I do hope that puppies of my breeding would bring lot of joy to their owners for many years. In my breeding activities I, of course, follow the breeding regulations of the Finnish Club for Leonbergers. I hope that you enjoy your stay here on my pages. Anneli |
